The National Cleaner Production Awards 2025 was held at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo under the patronage of Sunil Handunnetti, Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development. The event, organised by the National Cleaner Production Centre (NCPC) with the Ministry’s support, recognised 59 organisations for excellence in sustainable and cleaner production. Distinguished attendees included Anton Jayakody, Deputy Minister of Environment; Pradeep Saputhanthri, Secretary to the Prime Minister; Thilaka Jayasundara, Secretary to the Ministry; Gamini Gunasekara, Chairman of NCPC; Samantha Kumarasena, CEO of NCPC; and Ruwan Wijayamanna, Operations Manager.
