Sri Lanka Airport Authority Records 78 Percent Profit Growth in First Half of 2025

The Airport and Aviation Services Sri Lanka has posted a 78 percent rise in operational profit during the first six months of 2025, reaching Rs. 16,133 million compared to Rs. 9,049 million in 2024. The Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation confirmed that 32,423 flights were handled in this period. With the upcoming tourist season, the authority anticipates further growth in operations and revenue.
