The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and the stock broking industry, will host the ‘Invest Sri Lanka’ Investor Forum in Singapore on 12 August 2025. Building on the success of the March 2025 forum in Colombo, the event aims to position Sri Lanka’s capital market as an attractive frontier investment destination.
The forum will gather senior government officials, regulators, listed companies, broker firms, and global investors to discuss economic reforms, financial stability, and market potential. Key speakers include Hon. Prof. Anil J. Fernando, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Economic Development; Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka; and H.E. Senarath Dissanayake, High Commissioner to Singapore.
Sri Lanka’s equity market remains competitively valued with a Price-to-Earnings ratio of 9.20x and recorded net foreign inflows of USD 66.5 million in 2024. Eleven major listed companies will participate, showcasing growth potential.
With over 150 participants, the programme will feature two panel discussions on economic and equity market outlooks, highlighting opportunities for institutional investors. The event comes amid improved sovereign credit ratings and positive economic reforms.
