Softlogic Finance PLC has announced the appointment of Dhanushka Fonseka as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Dulcy Ivon Brohier who has resigned from the position.

Fonseka brings over 25 years of leadership experience in finance, lending, marketing, and corporate strategy. He joins Softlogic Finance from Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC, where he served as Chief Operating Officer since 2019 and as Director (Non-Board) since 2013. During his tenure, he was instrumental in enhancing operational performance and strengthening the company’s market position.

Beyond his corporate leadership roles, Fonseka has served as a Director at Fairview Hotels Ltd. and Mercantile Fortunes Insurance Brokers Ltd. He was also actively involved in the Finance Houses Association (FHA), holding the position of Vice President in 2023.
