Kaushala Amarasekara Wins CGMA Digital Transformation Award – Asia Pacific

AICPA & CIMA, together as the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, honoured Kaushala Amarasekara (ACMA, CGMA), AGM – Brand & Marketing Communication at Hutchison Telecommunication Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka, with the prestigious Digital Transformation Award at the inaugural CGMA Professional Awards – Asia Pacific.

The virtual ceremony celebrated Amarasekara’s innovative contributions in implementing digital transformation projects, leveraging technology to drive growth and efficiency. Expressing gratitude, Amarasekara stated, “This recognition inspires me to push boundaries further, leveraging technology to drive progress and create a digitally empowered future.”

Venkkat Ramanan, FCMA, CGMA, Vice President – Asia Pacific at AICPA & CIMA, highlighted the exceptional quality of over 1,200 nominations received from across the region, stating, “These awards celebrate individuals and organisations that advance the accounting and finance profession in Asia Pacific.”

The CGMA Professional Awards recognise CGMA members and partners fostering innovation, sustainability, and leadership across the accounting and finance profession.
