People’s Leasing & Finance PLC has won the Leasing & Finance Category at the eighth CSE Masterminds Quiz 2026, demonstrating its employees’ knowledge, analytical abilities and teamwork.

Organised by the Colombo Stock Exchange, the competition took place on 9 October at Shangri-La, Colombo, attracting 100 teams from financial institutions, private sector organisations and State institutions across Sri Lanka.

The winning People’s Leasing team comprised Shiranga Arseculeratne, Sithumini De Silva, Osanda Abeywardana, Shashika Peiris and Ishini Amararathne. Their preparation, collaboration and composure helped secure the category title against competition.

The quiz tested participants across local and international capital markets, the global economy, international business, Sri Lankan economic developments and stock market knowledge. Other subjects included current affairs, sports, entertainment and identifying listed companies.

Awards were presented across seven categories, recognising outstanding performances among participating organisations. The event offered employees an opportunity to apply their knowledge beyond their everyday professional responsibilities while competing with peers from different sectors.
