NCE Export Awards 2026 to Celebrate Over Three Decades of Sri Lanka’s Export Excellence

Published on

The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) is preparing to host the 34th Annual NCE Export Awards in December 2026, continuing a tradition of recognising Sri Lankan enterprises that have demonstrated excellence, resilience and competitiveness in international markets.

Introduced in 1996, the awards have evolved alongside Sri Lanka’s export sector, expanding from an emphasis on export earnings and market growth to a broader assessment of innovation, value addition, research and development, governance, ethical business practices and human resource development. The evaluation framework also incorporates the principles of People, Planet and Profit, reflecting the growing importance of sustainable business practices.

Exporters representing manufacturing, agriculture, value added products and services are recognised across sector specific categories, covering both large enterprises and small and medium sized businesses.

The awards also recognise exceptional achievements through special honours, including the Most Outstanding Exporter, outstanding women exporters, innovation leaders and Sri Lankan owned export brands that have successfully built an international presence.

Over more than three decades, the programme has continued despite economic uncertainty, the COVID 19 pandemic and disruptions to global trade, highlighting the resilience of Sri Lankan exporters and their contribution to foreign exchange earnings, employment and national economic growth.

Applications for the 2026 awards remain open until 30 September, with winners scheduled to be recognised at the 34th Annual NCE Export Awards Ceremony on 11 December 2026.
