Sri Lanka Strengthens Investor Confidence at Port City Forum in Singapore

Sri Lanka reaffirmed its reform agenda and long-term investment appeal at the Exclusive Port City Colombo Investor Forum held on 27 January 2026 at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. Jointly organised by the High Commission of Sri Lanka and Port City Colombo, the forum attracted nearly 100 senior leaders from finance, real estate, IT, and professional services.

Opening the event, Senarath Dissanayake, High Commissioner to Singapore, highlighted Sri Lanka’s commitment to regional engagement. Delivering the keynote,Hanif Yusoof, Presidential Special Envoy for Foreign Investment and Governor of the Western Province, described the country as a “transformation story”.

Harsha Amarasekara, Chairman of the Colombo Port City Economic Commission, outlined governance reforms, while Neil Parekh and Anthony Chua shared market insights. Representatives from Keppel Corporation and KPMG Sri Lanka reinforced investor confidence. Yusoof also reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s vision on Channel News Asia.
