Sri Lanka to Unveil National Tariff Policy by Mid 2026

The Trade Commerce and Food Security Ministry will introduce a comprehensive national tariff policy by mid twenty twenty six replacing decades of fragmented protection. Secretary K A Vimalenthirarajah said the shift will simplify tariffs, support competitiveness and enable regional value chain participation.
