AMW Capital Leasing and Finance PLC has appointed Mr Indrajith Boyagoda as its new Chairman. A senior finance professional with over 30 years of experience, Mr Boyagoda previously held senior roles at Citibank Sri Lanka, Samba Financial Group in Saudi Arabia and Nations Trust Bank PLC, where he served as Executive Vice President of Treasury and Investment Banking.

Mr Boyagoda joined the Board as an Independent Non Executive Director in June 2024 and was elevated to Senior Director last November. He currently serves as Secretary General of the Sri Lanka Banks Association and sits on the Boards of LankaPay Ltd and Lanka Financial Services Bureau Ltd.

He holds postgraduate qualifications in Economics from the University of Colombo and a BSc Hons degree from the University of Peradeniya.
