SLTC’s IRC 2025 Highlights Global Expertise and Advances in Digital Innovation

Sri Lanka Technology Campus successfully concluded the International Research Conference 2025, held in Colombo and Padukka, showcasing global perspectives on digital innovation and interdisciplinary research. The inauguration was graced by H.E. Dr Purna Bahadur Nepali, Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka and Maldives. Keynote addresses were delivered by Prof Thushari Silva of the University of Moratuwa on responsible AI and Prof Igor Balaban of the University of Zagreb on the future of digital education.

Important contributions came from Prof Chandrika Wijeyeratne, Vice Chancellor of SLTC; Dr Lakshitha Pahalagedara, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Dr Deepika Priyadarshani, General Chair of IRC 2025. The conference successfully united academia, industry and international experts.
