Published on

The IMF Board approved Zambia’s second program review, granting $187 million in financial support. Despite external shocks, Zambia remains committed to stabilising its economy.

Projected growth is 4.3% in 2023 and 4.7% in 2024, surpassing earlier estimates. Sustaining fiscal discipline, implementing debt restructuring, strategic monetary policy, boosting social spending, and enhancing public finance management will foster stability and inclusive growth.
