World Bank Injects $250 Million for Economic Reforms in Sri Lanka, According to Reuters.

In a statement on Wednesday, the World Bank announced the release of a second tranche of $250 million to bolster economic reforms in Sri Lanka. Earlier this month, the International Monetary Fund approved the first review of Sri Lanka’s $2.9 billion bailout, allocating approximately $337 million to address the repercussions of the nation’s severe financial crisis.
