Wealth Trust Securities PLC has appointed Vindhya Jayasekera as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 October 2026, bringing extensive investment management and capital markets expertise to its leadership team.
Jayasekera has more than two decades of experience across investment banking, asset management, investment strategy and capital market development in Sri Lanka.
She previously served as CEO Designate of the Colombo Stock Exchange, contributing to strategic and operational initiatives across the exchange, Central Depository Systems and CSE Clear.
Earlier, she spent nearly 15 years at NDB Wealth Management, serving as Chief Investment Officer and overseeing equity and fixed income investment strategies, with assets under management exceeding Rs. 380 billion during her tenure.
Her career began at NDB Investment Bank. She has also undertaken advisory assignments and served as a consultant to the World Bank Group.
A Fulbright Scholar, Jayasekera holds CFA, FRM and ACMA/CGMA credentials and a master’s degree in finance.
