Published on

Colombo’s real estate market has recorded a significant milestone with the latest development by John Keells Properties, as Vauxhall DSTRCT achieved over 200 apartment sales within just two weeks of its launch. The rapid uptake underscores strong demand in the metropolitan residential segment and signals renewed investor confidence in Sri Lanka’s urban property market.

Strategically located along Vauxhall Street in the heart of Colombo, the project has attracted both local and international buyers, reflecting a growing preference for centrally located, lifestyle-oriented developments. The response also reinforces the trust placed in JKP as a leading real estate developer in the country.

Commenting on the milestone, Nadeem Shums, Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing – Property Group at John Keells Holdings PLC, noted that the exceptional demand highlights a shift towards well-designed residences that offer both convenience and long-term investment value.

Spanning approximately 1.5 acres, the development will feature a 60-storey residential tower comprising 749 apartments, ranging from one- to four-bedroom units. Designed to offer competitively priced urban living, Vauxhall DSTRCT integrates smart technology and modern lifestyle amenities.

Building on a legacy of iconic developments, JKP continues to shape Colombo’s skyline, with Vauxhall DSTRCT emerging as one of the city’s most sought-after residential projects.
