Unveiling the Nominees for the Most Popular Woman Award – Sri Lanka Vanithabhimana Season 5

NDB Bank, in collaboration with News 1st, continues to celebrate the achievements of Sri Lankan women through the Sri Lanka Vanithabhimana initiative. As Season 5 reaches its grand finale on 20 August 2025, excitement is growing for the Most Popular Woman Award, decided entirely by public votes.

This year’s finalists showcase diverse talent and influence: Anudi Gunasekara, Sri Lanka’s Miss World 2024 representative; award-winning actress Tharindi Fernando; celebrated singer Kanchana Anuradhi; digital influencer Lochana Jayakodi; and actress and online personality Shanudrie Priyasad.

Voting is open until the evening of the finale. To participate, send VB (space) nominee number to 7788. Every vote honours talent and celebrates women shaping Sri Lanka’s society, economy, and culture.
