TVS Lanka Enhances Local Production of Two-Wheelers to Strengthen Sri Lankan Economy

Published on

TVS Lanka is enhancing Sri Lanka’s two-wheeler industry by manufacturing a comprehensive range of motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds with domestic value addition.

Since inaugurating its advanced assembly facility in 2021, established with an investment exceeding half a billion rupees, the company has focused on bolstering local manufacturing capabilities.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Industries’ Domestic Value Addition programme, setting new benchmarks in quality and innovation.

CEO Geethal Anthony emphasised the importance of this endeavour in managing rupee depreciation and developing the local component manufacturing industry, thereby supporting the nation’s economic revitalisation.
