Toyota Lanka Hosts Leadership Excellence Programme for 45 Under 45 Awardees

Toyota Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. provided a unique opportunity for the 45 Under 45 award recipients by organising a comprehensive Leadership Excellence Development Programme. This initiative was launched in response to a request from the Global CEO Forum.

The programme introduced participants to Toyota’s globally acclaimed management practices, with sessions designed to showcase how these principles are applied across various divisions of Toyota Lanka. Participants were given a rare behind-the-scenes look at the workflow and culture within the company.

The Leadership Excellence Development Programme was meticulously crafted by Mr. Sachio Yotsukura, Chairman of Toyota Lanka, and Mr. Mano Athukorala, Managing Director/CEO. Key members of Toyota Lanka’s team played a crucial role in the planning and execution of the event.

Mr. Anura Siriwardena, Chairman of the Global CEO Forum, Prof. Dewasiri N. Jayantha, Senior Vice President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, Dr. Samantha Rathnayake, Senior Lecturer at the Postgraduate Institute of Management, Dr. Tissa Ravinda Perera, Senior Lecturer at the University of Colombo, Ms. Onalie Dissanayake, Country Head of the Chartered Institute of Management, along with several senior business leaders, also participated in the programme, enhancing the learning experience for the awardees.
