Thakshila Galappaththy, Hotel Manager at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, has been appointed Vice President of the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association (SLHGA) at its 55th Annual General Meeting, held at Araliya Beach Resort & Spa, Unawatuna.
With over two decades of hospitality experience, Galappaththy has held senior positions at Galle Face Hotel, Mount Lavinia Hotel, Club Hotel Dolphin and Sierra Leisure, alongside international assignments in Thailand and Germany.
A graduate of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, he holds postgraduate qualifications from the University of Colombo.
He previously served SLHGA as General Secretary and Treasurer.
