Sri Lanka’s Emerging Business Leaders to Be Honoured at 45 Under 45 Leadership Excellence Platinum Awards Tomorrow

The prestigious will be held tomorrow 21 May 2026,at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Colombo, bringing together some of Sri Lanka’s most influential policymakers, diplomats, and corporate leaders to celebrate the nation’s rising generation of business excellence.

The ceremony, organised by the and , will recognise and honour the country’s most promising young business leaders under the age of 45 for their outstanding leadership, innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and contribution to economic growth.

Hon. Dr. Dammika Patabendi, Minister of Environment, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Among the distinguished dignitaries expected to attend are Mr. Pradeep Saputhanthri, Secretary to the Prime Minister; Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Communication; Mr. Nalaka Kaluwewa, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education; Mr. Chaminda Pathiraja, Controller General of Immigration and Emigration; and Prof. Hareendra Dissabandara, Chairman of Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka,

Diplomatic representatives including High Commissioners and Ambassadors, leading corporate leaders , chamber heads, and representatives of various business councils are also expected to attend the grand occasion.

The awards ceremony aims to inspire a new generation of ethical, visionary, and globally competitive business leaders while recognising the remarkable contribution made by young entrepreneurs and professionals towards Sri Lanka’s economic advancement.

The event is expected to further strengthen its position as one of Sri Lanka’s most distinguished leadership recognition platforms dedicated to celebrating emerging excellence in business and enterprise.
