Sri Lankan-British artificial intelligence startup Happy Chimps has been selected for the prestigious NVIDIA Inception Programme, marking a significant milestone in its mission to transform how small and medium sized enterprises operate through AI driven technology.

The company, founded and led by Dinesh Mandawala, has earned recognition for developing an AI powered operating system that helps businesses improve profitability, strengthen customer relationships and enhance operational efficiency. The selection by NVIDIA provides Happy Chimps with access to world class technical expertise, cloud infrastructure support and a global innovation ecosystem designed to accelerate high potential AI startups.

Through the programme, Happy Chimps is expected to receive cloud infrastructure support worth up to US$100,000 over the coming months, enabling the company to expand its AI capabilities while reducing technology costs. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the company’s ambitions of becoming a leading provider of AI powered operating systems for SMEs worldwide.

Commenting on the achievement, Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Mandawala said the recognition validates the company’s long term vision of making artificial intelligence practical, accessible and commercially valuable for businesses. He noted that every innovation developed by Happy Chimps is focused on helping SMEs increase revenue, improve efficiency and build stronger customer engagement.

Unlike conventional point of sale providers, Happy Chimps offers an integrated platform combining payments, reservations, loyalty programmes, digital marketing, analytics, AI powered business intelligence and online ordering within a single ecosystem.

Currently serving hospitality businesses in the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka, the company is expanding into Australia and the United Arab Emirates, reinforcing its growing international presence in the rapidly evolving AI sector.
