Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Chile, and Bangladesh are seeking to join the China-led Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), according to a report by Reuters. Officials have expressed support for the bloc’s expansion, with membership discussions expected at the RCEP leaders’ summit in October.
