SLT-MOBITEL Unveils ‘Co-Connection’: Pioneering ESG Initiatives in Sri Lanka

SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider, introduces its ESG theme ‘Co-Connection’, emphasising environmental stewardship, societal well-being, and governance integrity.

Under ‘Co-Connection for the Environment’, the company targets reducing greenhouse gas emissions and managing e-waste, having already cut emissions by 18 million metric tonnes and processed over 300 metric tonnes of electronic waste.

‘Co-Connection for Society’ focuses on community support, including educational and health aid, with over Rs. 350 million invested during the pandemic for connectivity and community needs.

Lastly, ‘Co-Connection for Governance’ aims for transparency and accountability, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure responsible corporate operations.
