Singer Sri Lanka PLC has partnered with Dialog Axiata PLC to integrate Dialog Pay across its nationwide retail network, enabling customers to enjoy secure, convenient and seamless digital payment experiences while shopping at Singer outlets across the country.
The partnership marks another milestone in Sri Lanka’s accelerating digital payments landscape, allowing customers to complete purchases by scanning the LankaQR code through the Dialog Pay App or the MyDialog App at Singer billing counters. The initiative combines one of the country’s largest retail networks with an advanced digital payments platform, making everyday transactions faster, safer and more convenient.
Singer, one of Sri Lanka’s most recognised retail brands with a history spanning more than a century, offers a broad portfolio of consumer electronics, home appliances, furniture, digital products, kitchen appliances and agricultural machinery. The integration of Dialog Pay is expected to enhance the shopping experience while supporting the country’s transition towards a more digitally connected and cash light economy.
Mahesh Wijewardene, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Singer Group, said customer convenience and innovation remain central to the company’s strategy. He noted that the collaboration with Dialog Pay reflects Singer’s commitment to delivering secure and rewarding payment experiences while making everyday shopping easier for customers.
The Dialog Pay platform enables customers to activate the service using an eZ Cash account or by linking their preferred bank account. In addition to secure LankaQR payments, users can transfer funds, access digital wallet services, open savings accounts and fixed deposits, and apply for financial products through Dialog Finance.
The collaboration reinforces both companies’ commitment to advancing Sri Lanka’s digital economy while promoting wider adoption of secure and innovative payment technologies.
