Seylan Bank First in Sri Lanka to Secure ISO 22301 for Business Continuity

Seylan Bank PLC has become the first Sri Lankan bank to achieve ISO 22301:2019 certification for Business Continuity Management, covering key areas including international banking, treasury, digital banking, IT, and HR. The Bank simultaneously earned ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for Information Security, underscoring its commitment to resilience and cybersecurity. CEO Ramesh Jayasekara said the dual achievement reaffirms Seylan Bank’s dedication to safeguarding stakeholders’ interests and ensuring uninterrupted services through advanced governance, risk management, and global best practices.
