Sri Lanka’s largest printing, packaging and graphic communications exhibition, Print Expo 2026, opens today at the BMICH in Colombo, bringing together industry leaders, technology providers, manufacturers, policymakers and entrepreneurs to explore the future of the sector.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP), the three-day exhibition runs until 21 June under the theme “Driving Innovation and Sustainability for a Print Future”. The event will showcase the latest advancements in digital printing, automation, Artificial Intelligence, smart manufacturing and sustainable production technologies.
SLAP President Eng. Janaka Rathnakumara said the exhibition reflects the rapid transformation taking place across the global printing industry and aims to strengthen competitiveness while promoting innovation and environmental responsibility.
A key highlight will be the Sri Lanka National Print Excellence Awards 2026, scheduled for 20 June at Cinnamon Life, recognising outstanding achievements in printing, packaging, labels, sustainability and innovation.
The event also seeks to enhance the integration of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises into national and global value chains, supporting a stronger and more internationally competitive printing industry.
