Mr. Ali Shiyaz, Director of Fancy Foods, the exclusive importer and distributor of Prima KottuMee in the Maldives, stated, “We’re excited to introduce the Prima KottuMee Korean Ramen instant noodles: Fiery Cheese and Fiery Chicken flavours to our customers. With our strong distribution network, these newly launched flavours are expected to reach every corner of the Maldives.”

Fancy Foods operates stores in key locations such as Male’ City, Hulhumale’, and Addu City, with products also available in stores and supermarkets nationwide.

Prima KottuMee has become increasingly popular among Maldivian consumers, particularly the younger demographic. Mr. Sajith Gunaratne, General Manager of Ceylon Agro Industries, Prima Group Sri Lanka, highlighted the growing demand for Prima KottuMee products in the Maldives.

“The Maldivian youth have embraced Prima KottuMee, and as the popularity of Korean-inspired cuisine continues to rise, Prima KottuMee is well-positioned to push the boundaries of flavour innovation with Korean Ramen. Prima KottuMee made its debut in the Maldivian market in 2008 through its partnership with Fancy Foods, and since then the brand has steadily grown in popularity. The new Korean Ramen flavours are set to add a fresh Hot ‘N’ Spicy twist to the range, catering to those who crave bold and adventurous tastes.
