People’s Insurance Honours Excellence and Innovation at Achievers’ Night 2025

People’s Insurance PLC hosted its much-anticipated Achievers’ Night 2025 on 26th July at the Monarch Imperial, Colombo, recognising outstanding sales performers, employees with exceptional talents, sports achievements, and long service exceeding 15 years. The evening was a celebration of resilience, loyalty, and innovation.

Gracing the event as Chief Guest was Mr D. P. Kumarage, the esteemed Founder and former Managing Director of People’s Insurance PLC. His emotional felicitation was a defining moment, as he reflected on the company’s remarkable journey and applauded the enduring spirit of its team. The evening also saw the presentation of the prestigious Chairman’s Award to the Best Sales Achiever of the Year.

CEO Ms Jeevani Kariyawasam commended the team’s strength in navigating economic challenges, celebrating People’s Insurance as one of the most profitable General Insurance providers in Sri Lanka. She expressed gratitude to the past and present Board of Directors for their steadfast support.

A key highlight was the launch of People’s Insurance Buddy, a new AI-driven chatbot designed to enhance customer service and digital engagement.

The event encapsulated the company’s ethos—recognising dedication, inspiring excellence, and embracing innovation.
