People’s Bank has marked International Youth Day 2026 by introducing an enhanced range of financial and lifestyle benefits through its YES Infinity 2026 programme, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the aspirations of Sri Lanka’s younger generation.

Designed around the evolving lifestyles of young customers, the initiative combines savings, digital banking convenience and lifestyle privileges. YES Infinity 2026 offers discounts of up to 40 per cent at selected merchant outlets islandwide, alongside a special interest rate reduction on eligible People’s Auto Loans.

The benefits are available from 12 August to 30 September 2026 for new and existing YES Account holders using their YES Debit Cards. Eligible customers can also receive a 0.5 per cent interest rate reduction on People’s Auto Loans.

People’s Bank Deputy General Manager, Retail Banking, A.U.A. Anzar, said the bank has continued to develop products tailored to different customer segments since its establishment in 1961. The YES Account was introduced in 2003 to commemorate International Youth Day and address the financial needs of ambitious young Sri Lankans.

The programme also provides customers with convenient access to banking services, including round the clock cash deposit facilities through more than 350 Cash Deposit Machines and Cash Recycling Machines across the country.

Through YES Infinity 2026, People’s Bank aims to combine financial accessibility with lifestyle focused benefits, helping young customers manage their finances while pursuing personal, professional and mobility aspirations.

The initiative reflects the bank’s broader efforts to encourage smart savings, digital banking adoption and greater financial inclusion among Sri Lanka’s emerging generation.
