Niroshan De Silva Appointed CEO of LAUGFS Retail Sector

Mr Niroshan De Silva, Past Vice President of the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association (SLHGA), has been appointed CEO and Sector Managing Director – Retail of LAUGFS Holdings, effective 20 March 2026.

Bringing over 30 years of industry experience, Mr De Silva possesses a strong track record of leadership across hospitality, retail, quick service restaurants, supermarkets, and fashion retail. His extensive expertise in driving operational excellence and strategic growth is expected to further strengthen LAUGFS Holdings’ retail sector.

In addition to his role as CEO, Mr De Silva has been appointed Managing Director of LAUGFS Supermarkets (Pvt) Ltd, LAUGFS Restaurants (Pvt) Ltd, LAUGFS Petroleum (Pvt) Ltd, and Southern Petroleum (Pvt) Ltd. He will also serve on the Boards of LAUGFS Petroleum and LAUGFS Restaurants, enhancing governance and strategic oversight across the group.

His appointment marks a significant milestone in his distinguished career, reflecting both his professional achievements and continued contribution to industry leadership.
