McLarens Partners with Koko to Boost Accessibility of 3M and Meguiar’s Products in Sri Lanka

Published on

McLarens Group, the exclusive distributor of world-renowned brands 3M and Meguiar’s in Sri Lanka, has announced a strategic partnership with Koko, the country’s leading Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform. The collaboration aims to enhance affordability and accessibility of high-end car care, homecare, stationery, and personal safety products for Sri Lankan consumers.

Through this partnership, customers can now purchase a wide range of 3M and Meguiar’s products both online via the McLarens Online Store (mll.lk/products) and offline at their Union Place retail outlet, with the added benefit of Koko’s three-month, interest-free instalment plan.

“This initiative is driven by our commitment to making top-tier global products more accessible,” said Dilan Seneviratne, CEO/Director of McLarens-3M. “Our partnership with Koko underscores our ongoing effort to offer smarter, more flexible solutions to our customers. This is just the beginning—more exciting offers are in the pipeline.”

Koko, backed by Daraz and the Alibaba Group, continues to expand its footprint in Sri Lanka’s digital finance space, allowing consumers to manage both essential and aspirational purchases more conveniently. With the anticipated return of vehicle imports and rising disposable incomes, the BNPL model is expected to benefit a growing base of customers seeking quality car care and lifestyle products.

Michael Sathasivam, Regional CEO of Koko/Daraz BNPL, remarked, “Our collaboration with McLarens brings financial flexibility to more Sri Lankans who value reliability and premium quality. Together, we aim to reshape how customers access and experience high-end international brands.”

This partnership marks a significant milestone in McLarens’ mission to deliver globally respected products through locally relevant, consumer-friendly channels, empowering more Sri Lankans to elevate their vehicle, home, and workplace maintenance without compromising on quality.
