LOLC Technologies Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to integrate Azure cloud services into its next-generation core banking platform, FusionX. The agreement was formalised at the LOLC Holdings Head Office in Rajagiriya, marking a significant milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey.
The signing ceremony was attended by key figures from both organisations, including Mr. Kapila Jayawardena, Managing Director/CEO of LOLC Holdings PLC; Mr. Conrad Dias, Chairman of LOLC Technologies Ltd; Mr. Prasanna Siriwardena, Deputy CEO of LOLC Technologies Ltd and CIO of LOLC Holdings PLC; Mr. Harsha Randeny, Country Manager for Microsoft Sri Lanka and Maldives; and Mr. Dhammika Weerakoon, Corporate Accounts Lead for Sri Lanka and Maldives.
By leveraging Microsoft Azure’s advanced capabilities, FusionX aims to enhance scalability, agility, and AI-driven efficiency for Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) institutions. This integration will enable real-time analytics and empower BFSIs to evolve rapidly while unlocking AI’s full potential.
