JXG Posts Rs. 6.4 Billion Revenue in Maiden Results Since CSE Listing

Published on

JXG (Janashakthi Group) has reported consolidated revenue of Rs. 6.4 billion in its maiden financial results following its listing on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), demonstrating resilience amid a challenging global operating environment.

The diversified financial services group, whose portfolio spans insurance, investment banking and finance, recorded the performance against a backdrop of heightened global uncertainty and changing market conditions.

JXG’s portfolio includes Janashakthi Insurance PLC, First Capital Holdings PLC and Janashakthi Finance PLC, providing the Group with exposure to several key segments of Sri Lanka’s financial services industry.

The results mark an important milestone for JXG following its successful initial public offering earlier this year. The IPO attracted strong investor interest and was fully subscribed on its opening day, signalling market confidence in the Group’s long-term strategy and growth prospects.

JXG Group CEO Ramesh Schaffter has previously highlighted the importance of building an integrated financial services platform capable of generating sustainable value while pursuing opportunities for future expansion.

The Group’s diversified structure is expected to provide greater flexibility in navigating changing economic and financial market conditions, while allowing its businesses to capitalise on opportunities across insurance, capital markets and lending.

Following its CSE listing, attention will increasingly focus on JXG’s ability to translate its strengthened capital position into sustainable growth and shareholder value.

Its maiden results provide investors with an early indication of the Group’s performance as a publicly listed company and represent another chapter in the evolution of one of Sri Lanka’s established financial services groups.
