The Indian CEO Forum, in collaboration with the High Commission of India in Colombo, hosted a visiting delegation from the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) as part of the India Sri Lanka Trade Connect series, reaffirming the commitment of both countries to expanding bilateral trade and investment.
The networking evening brought together business leaders and industry representatives from India and Sri Lanka, creating valuable opportunities for business to business engagements and strategic partnerships. The event highlighted the growing momentum in economic cooperation between the two neighbouring nations.
A key highlight of the programme was the signing of Memoranda of Understanding by the Indian Chamber of Commerce with the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) and the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE). The agreements are expected to promote stronger commercial collaboration, facilitate market access, and encourage greater trade and investment opportunities.
The initiative reflects the shared vision of the Indian CEO Forum, the High Commission of India, and the participating chambers to strengthen regional business connectivity and foster sustainable economic growth through enhanced cross border partnerships.
