Home Lands Strengthens Port City Colombo Presence with Second Strategic Land Acquisition

Published on

Home Lands Group has further strengthened its presence within Port City Colombo with the acquisition of its second land parcel in the prestigious Central Park District, reaffirming its confidence in Sri Lanka’s most ambitious urban development project.

The newly acquired property, spanning more than three acres, is situated adjacent to the site earmarked for the company’s landmark Central Park Boulevard Port City Colombo development. The acquisition significantly expands Home Lands’ footprint within the emerging international city and underscores its long-term commitment to transformative real estate investment.

The official signing ceremony was held at Port City Colombo and attended by China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) Chairman Bai Yinzhan, South Asia and South East Asia Managing Director Wang Gang, CHEC Port City Colombo Managing Director Xiong Hongfeng, Home Lands Group Chairman and Managing Director Nalin Herath, and senior representatives of both organisations.

The latest acquisition comes just three months after Home Lands secured the land parcel for its twin-tower Central Park Boulevard development. Significantly, the investment has been undertaken entirely by Home Lands as a single-developer initiative, highlighting the company’s financial strength, investment capacity, and confidence in the future growth of Port City Colombo.

Commenting on the development, Herath said the investment reflects confidence not only in Port City Colombo but also in Sri Lanka’s future economic potential. He noted that every strategic investment made by the company contributes to the nation’s growth and progress.

As Port City Colombo continues to evolve into a globally competitive business and lifestyle destination, Home Lands’ latest investment reinforces its position as one of Sri Lanka’s leading real estate developers, committed to innovation, excellence, and world-class urban development.
