Colombo – As Sri Lanka prepares to draft its upcoming National Budget, the Global CEO Forum has issued an open call for proposals from CEOs, Chairpersons, and industry leaders across all sectors.
In a statement released this week, the Forum invited the business community to contribute recommendations and insights that will help shape a budget aligned with the country’s economic recovery, business sustainability, and long-term development goals.
“We are pleased to represent the voice of the business community and will be forwarding a consolidated set of proposals to the Government for consideration,” the statement read.
The Forum emphasised that active participation from private sector leaders is vital in ensuring that the upcoming Budget accurately reflects the challenges, priorities, and aspirations of Sri Lanka’s key industries.
