Eranga Perera has been appointed Head of Information Technology at Hayleys Retail Holdings Limited, reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation and strengthening enterprise technology capabilities across its retail operations.
In his new leadership role, Perera will spearhead the organisation’s IT strategy, enterprise technology operations, infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity initiatives, and digital transformation agenda. His mandate includes enabling scalable business growth, enhancing operational excellence, and driving technology led innovation across the retail ecosystem.
Bringing more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology and retail IT leadership, Perera joins Hayleys Retail Holdings after serving as Head of IT and Leadership Team Member at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. Lanka Pvt. Ltd. There, he led enterprise wide digital transformation initiatives focused on customer experience, cyber resilience, and operational efficiency.
Earlier, he spent over 15 years with JAYKAY MARKETING SERVICES (PVT.) LIMITED, part of John Keells Holdings PLC, where he held several senior technology leadership positions. During his tenure, he successfully delivered SAP integrations, point of sale modernisation, loyalty platform enhancements, disaster recovery systems, and enterprise infrastructure transformation projects.
His appointment reflects the growing importance of technology leadership in shaping the future of Sri Lanka’s retail industry.
