Electricity Tariffs Unchanged for Final Quarter of 2025

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka announced that electricity tariffs will remain unchanged for the final quarter of 2025 after reviewing economic conditions and public feedback, rejecting the Ceylon Electricity Board’s proposed 6.8 percent hike. Current rates remain effective from midnight today.
