EDB–JICA Partnership Extended to Boost Sri Lanka’s ICT/BPM Growth

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have extended their strategic partnership to strengthen Sri Lanka’s ICT/BPM sector in the Japanese market. Originally due to conclude in October 2025, the programme will now continue for another year, offering market intelligence, business coaching, matchmaking, and a new Proof of Concept grant scheme. The extension underscores both nations’ commitment to technological exchange, innovation, and deepening bilateral economic cooperation.
