E-Channelling PLC Appoints Suren Amarasekera as Independent Non-Executive Director

E-Channelling PLC has appointed Suren Amarasekera to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, strengthening its governance and strategic oversight.

Amarasekera brings over three decades of global telecommunications experience, including senior leadership roles across the Singtel Group, SLT-Mobitel Group, Axiata Group, and Maxis Group. His leadership has driven large-scale digital transformation, transitioning traditional Telco models into agile TechCo platforms.

Since 2020, he has focused on AI-led innovation, including multimodal and vernacular AI applications, alongside emerging technologies such as 5G, 6G, and the Tactile Internet. His international exposure across Asia enhances his strategic perspective.

His appointment reinforces E-Channelling’s commitment to innovation, digital healthcare expansion, and long-term value creation within Sri Lanka’s evolving healthcare ecosystem.
