Dr S. Maheswaran has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Management at the University of Peradeniya, marking a new chapter in his academic leadership journey.
Prior to the appointment, Dr Maheswaran served as Head of the Department of Operations Management and as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Management. His academic work spans operations management, innovation and decision sciences, contributing to the development of management education and future business professionals.
His appointment places him at the helm of one of Sri Lanka’s prominent university management faculties, with responsibility for advancing academic excellence, research and industry engagement.
