The Council of Business with Britain (CBB) re-elected Mark Surgenor, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Sri Lanka, as President at its 2025 AGM. Ameena Ziauddin and Shiluka Goonewardene remain as SVP and VP, with Fadhil Jiffry continuing as Treasurer. CBB reaffirmed its commitment to UK–Sri Lanka trade, member support, and nurturing future industry leaders.
