Commercial Bank Introduces H2H Services for Businesses

Published on

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has introduced Host-to-Host (H2H) payment services for corporate clients as part of its ComBank Digital Enterprise Solutions.

H2H is an automated, secure solution that integrates with corporate clients’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, allowing seamless electronic data transfer between banks and businesses. By eliminating manual processes in payment transfers and reconciliations, H2H enhances efficiency and reliability in managing high-volume transactions.

This system supports various ERP platforms, including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and Odoo, and enables file transfers in standard formats such as XML and CSV. H2H offers real-time processing of payments and automated reconciliation between bank statements and the ERP system, significantly improving transaction management.

The solution incorporates security measures like encryption and digital signatures to ensure secure data exchange 24/7.

Corporate clients benefit from streamlined operations, real-time capabilities, and reduced errors, with two payment authorisation methods: Pre-Authorised and Post-Authorised Payment Files.

The service simplifies workflows, enabling payment processes without logging into multiple platforms. Several businesses have already integrated H2H with ComBank Digital, enjoying its efficiency and security.

Commercial Bank remains a leader in digital innovation, serving over 1.4 million customers through its digital platform, processing millions of transactions monthly.
