Citibank N.A., UAE has appointed Rajeev Garg as its new Head of Wealth, underscoring the bank’s commitment to expanding its wealth management business in the UAE.

In his new role, Garg will lead Citi’s Wealth franchise, overseeing Citigold, Citigold Private Client and Credit Cards, while strengthening the business’s risk and control framework in line with global standards and local regulatory requirements. He will report to Yeo Wenxian, Head of Asia South Wealth, with an additional reporting line to Shamsa Al-Falasi, Citi Country Officer, Banking Head and Chief Executive Officer of Citibank N.A., UAE.

Garg brings 26 years of banking experience, including more than 18 years with Citi across multiple international markets. Most recently, he served as Asia South Citigold Business Execution Lead, driving business transformation and performance. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Commenting on his appointment, Garg said the UAE offers significant growth potential and expressed confidence in further strengthening Citi’s wealth management offerings while delivering innovative, client-focused financial solutions.
