Komerz, the global distributor specialising in omni channel commerce solutions, has appointed Chit Ratnayake as Global Chief Ecommerce Officer and investor. Chit brings over 15 years of experience in high growth ecommerce and direct to consumer businesses, including senior roles at Reckitt and Unilever.
At Reckitt, he exceeded growth targets by 50 percent year on year and expanded brands such as Durex across Europe and India. His new role at Komerz will focus on scaling challenger brands globally, building direct to consumer, marketplace, social commerce, and quick commerce channels.
Chit described Komerz as a “one stop shop across every channel” capable of propelling brands worldwide within weeks. His appointment reflects Komerz’s ambition to reshape traditional distribution by offering integrated strategies, profit sharing models, and operational scale that empower brands to accelerate international growth.
