Ceylinco Life has retained its position as Sri Lanka’s most valuable insurance brand in the 2026 Brand Finance ranking of the country’s 100 Most Valuable Brands.
The life insurer has been assigned a brand value of Rs. 6.7 billion and an AAA brand rating, reflecting its continued strength, market standing and stakeholder confidence. Ceylinco Life is also ranked 25th among Sri Lanka’s 100 most valuable brands across all sectors.
The latest recognition represents an improvement in the company’s brand strength rating from AAA- in 2025 to AAA in 2026. Its brand value has also increased from Rs. 6.45 billion in the previous year, highlighting the continued development of its brand equity in Sri Lanka’s competitive insurance market.
Commenting on the achievement, Ceylinco Life Head of Marketing Dhiranjan Canagasabey said the recognition demonstrated the company’s ability to continue earning its position in the minds of Sri Lankan consumers.
He noted that being recognised as the country’s most valuable insurance brand was a strong measure of the relevance and resilience of Ceylinco Life, while reinforcing the company’s responsibility to continuously raise customer expectations.
The recognition further strengthens Ceylinco Life’s standing within Sri Lanka’s insurance industry and reflects the value the brand has built through customer relationships, market leadership and sustained business performance.
Brand Finance’s evaluation framework considers areas including marketing investment, stakeholder equity and business performance, combining these factors to assess both brand value and overall brand strength.
