Asian Tactical Security Training Ltd. has officially commenced operations in Sri Lanka, introducing structured programmes in unarmed self-defence, close protection, and practical security training. Operating under Accolade Ventures, the new entity focuses on skills development and advisory services, distinct from the operational role of Asian Security Group.
Chief Executive Officer Sathis Thiramunige noted that the initiative formalises years of local and international training experience, bringing together expertise from Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, and Italy under one professional platform.
The programmes prioritise real-world preparedness over competitive sport, utilising battle-tested techniques such as Krav Maga and Kapap, adapted for modern safety requirements. Training is designed for corporate teams, security personnel, and civilians, with flexible short- and long-term options.
Led by a panel of international and local instructors, the initiative also incorporates behavioural awareness, communication skills, and situational response training. Director – Training D.G.M. Chinthaka emphasised accessibility, noting that programmes are tailored to participants’ experience levels.
The company plans to expand across Asia while strengthening partnerships in Europe. With a philosophy centred on preparedness, protection, and performance, the initiative reflects a growing demand for practical, skill-based security training in an evolving global risk environment.
