National Broadcasting Company (NBC )of USA is set to use an AI-generated version of Al Michaels’ voice for Olympics recaps this summer.

As reported by Samantha Murphy Kelly for CNN, the AI software will deliver daily updates via NBC’s Peacock streaming platform. This marks a significant step for AI in media, as the technology’s ability to create realistic images, sounds, and texts has rapidly advanced.

However, this development also raises ethical questions in creative fields like journalism about the appropriate use of artificial intelligence.
