Actuarial Association Elects New Council

The Actuarial Association of Sri Lanka marked a historic milestone at its Annual General Meeting held on 30 January 2026, with the election of its President by member vote for the first time. The newly appointed AASL Council for 2026 is led by President Thanuja Krishnaratna, supported by Vice President Kasun Amarasuriya, Secretary Shemani Ratwatte, and Treasurer Eranga Karunaratne, together with a dedicated team of council members. The Association expressed its sincere appreciation to the outgoing Council for its valuable service. The new leadership is expected to strengthen professional standards, enhance industry engagement, and guide AASL towards sustained growth and excellence.
