I am proud to announce the successful launch of the Sri Lanka Business Council of the Maldives on November 12, 2024, at Hotel Jen Male’. This initiative, affiliated with the Sri Lanka High Commission in the Maldives, is a significant milestone in fostering stronger economic collaboration and unlocking opportunities for businesses in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Hon. Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Economic Development and Trade, High Commissioners, Ambassadors , and esteemed members of the business community. Together, we marked the beginning of a promising platform for enhancing trade, investment, and partnerships between our two nations.

I thank everyone who supported this initiative and contributed to its success. Let us continue to work together toward a prosperous future!
